Gabrielle has been a Suzuki Piano teacher for over 40 years, and continues to teach in her thriving piano studios in Sydney.

Gabrielle had a very large and successful studio in Canberra before moving to the Blue Mountains in 2008. In 2008 and 2009 she stood in as a locum for many teachers in Sydney before establishing her own studio in Woodford and then Thornleigh. At the same time she updated her qualifications to include Suzuki Early Childhood Music and Music Mind Games.

These days, Gabrielle retains her students at Thornleigh, and has a growing piano studio in Meadowbank. Gabrielle continues to provide quality private piano lessons for children in a supportive, nurturing environment.

As a qualified Early Childhood Music teacher, Gabrielle is highly experienced in providing piano lessons for preschoolers. Providing engaging piano lessons for 3 year olds and above is a specialised skill that Gabrielle enjoys.

… And for those of us with a little more maturity, Gabrielle also teaches piano lessons for adults, in a supportive, caring environment!

Gabrielle supplements her music lessons with theory and musicianship and sight reading, appropriate to the level of the child. For younger students, she uses Music Mind Games, and for older students, the Blitz Books provide excellent theory and musicianship resources.

Gabrielle has been a regular tutor at Suzuki Workshops and conferences in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Adelaide, Canberra and Dubbo.

“First for the love of the child,
Next, for the love of teaching the child.
Next for the love of the music taught to the child.
But always, the child comes first.”
